Can dogs eat human food?

Can dogs eat human food?

I mean, I know certain foods are restricted. I went to PetSmart (where they address the pets more than they do the humans), and they told me my dog was NEVER allowed to have ANY type of human food ever. My parents already think American dogs are spoiled for being allowed in the house XD Anyway, my older brother came to visit once, and he fed my dog a chicken bone. My dog didn't choke on it, but he did manage to eat it rather quickly. I don´t think dog food is very satisfying to dogs. I know healthy dogs that live off of table scraps...what´s with the obsession of keeping dogs unnaturally healthy?

Dog food is healthy for dogs. I understand where you come from though. Dogs were wild once, but now they are domesticated. This means they can no longer eat everything they used to in the wild. Chicken bones are bad for digestion. They can become lodged in the thought or cause a blockage in the intestine. Table scraps are not good because dogs can get diabetes. Not only that but dog's cant digest bread, wheat products of any kind, rice, and the like. We feed dog's food that is formulated for them. Dogs aren't humans, they can't eat a lot of the foods we do.
